Carlos Simões is a Managing Partner of DSL Lawyers, which he founded in July 2007 after 11 years as partner of C & C Advogados, Macau.

His practice in DSL Lawyers is focused on the areas of Property, Corporate Law and Construction, assisting a number of investors in their local projects and set-up of their Macau operations. He spends much of his time structuring local corporations or advising on transactional work, namely property investments and acquisitions.

Carlos graduated in Law in Lisbon (1991), moving to Macau the following year, and has been admitted to both the Macau and Portugal Bars.

Appointed as a Public Notary since 1994, he was a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Macau Bar from 1996 to 1999 and is a regular speaker on legal topics for Macau.
